They are some crazy buds! never seen one like them! i'm excited to see what come out of this! Update us when you can!

I'm struggling to pollinate them as that is as far as the flower comes out of the bud! True Bubblegum buds it seems, so the seeds were legit! I am excited!

This is as far as the flower comes out. You can probably see why it is a bit tricky to pollinate these guys!

Alright so I have had another fishy die. Pinky is the sole survivor. So I have pretty much flagged this experiment now. Obviously yes it does work. But as I have experienced and also researched, chillies are a bit more difficult as they thrive when the water is more soiled. (I think why the fish struggle) Leafy greens will suit this application best. Also this design is better used on a large scale with edible fish. I was never going to go to this extreme, I was just playing around.
So I have now taken the Bubblegum 7 pod out and put this in my hydroponics system, (An easy transition, just swap the lids) I had a Brazilian Ghost Pepper I had recently added to hydroponics but it was struggling with the 15 mins water on and 45 mins water off due to its size. So with the remaining 1 fish (Pinky) I have put the Brazilian Ghost in the aquaponics bucket to see if we can revive it? (Only because I don't know what else to do with the poor fish! :( )

This has been a great experiment I have enjoyed watching the progress. I now fell a little sorry for pinky.

The bubble gum 7 is looking battle axe scary though.

Hey guys!
Quick update because in the last 3 weeks I think this Brazilian Ghost has not only recovered well in Aquaponics, but taken off!

3 weeks in Aquaponics - 1 fish

And Pinky is still doing well. So perhaps 1 goldfish is just fine for 1 plant in the end?? At least a plant this size, at this stage....
