Leaf death from the tip

Postby CJBateman » Sun Oct 20, 2013 1:46 pm

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody has seen this before.

noticed it during the winter when I had a fly pest get out of control.
now the plant is outside and the pests are mostly gone.
The leaves start to die from the tip and slowly works through the leaf until it drops off.
I've noticed some of the new growth starting to do this.

I'm thinking it could be due to a bacterial/viral infection, stress from the bug infestitation or temperature related.

any ideas?

I had the same problem, what I find is that when you transfer your chilies from artificial light to the sun the leaves always fall off and the plant sprouts new ones. I am assuming that the plants are just adapting to different conditions. With insects I use detol mix 10mil to 10ltr of water and it seems to take care of most bugs.
